The experiences in principles of urban design, preservation of cultural heritage, contemporary approaches in restoration and current technologies utilised on stages that were accumulated throughout the last decade by Cafer Bozkurt Architecture through working on projects such as Süreyya Pasha Concert and Opera House, Bursa Merinos Atatürk Culture Center and Kadıköy Haldun Taner Stage, which were designed as public buildings at the city centres of Istanbul and Bursa that demanded to be designed to respond to the present-day necessities of the culture and art scene in these cities, will be shared with the audience.

At the office established in 1971 he has designed and built a great number of projects with a focus on Culture, Education, Housing, Tourism, Recreation and Urban Design. He has specialized in the fields of Historic Environment and Restoration through the multitude of projects he has realised. During his career, he was awarded numerous national and international architectural prizes, invited to conferences and meetings, contributed as a visiting lecturer and an instructor at schools of architecture, and served as a jury member in competitions of architecture and urban design. In addition to being a member and having served on the board of directors of the TSMD (Turkish Association of Architects in Private Practice) and ISMD (Istanbul branch office of TSMD), he has also served as a member and the chairman of the Historical Heritage Committee of İstanbul No 4 responsible for the Historical Peninsula and the Historical Heritage Committee of İstanbul No 3 responsible for the Bosphorus.
