Alp Ersönmez is a bass player, composer, producer and arranger working with names like Turkish pop superstar Tarkan, İlhan Erşahin’s İstanbul Sessions and Wonderland with Hüsnü Şenlendirici, MadenÖktemErsönmez - MOE, Turkish pop stars Nil Karaibrahimgil and Yalın. His list of live and studio performances include names like Erkan Oğur, Erik Truffaz, Wax Poetic, Alexandre Tassel, Aydın Esen, Bugge Wesseltoft, Butch Morris, Eddie Henderson, Athena, Arto Tunçboyacıyan, Papa Dee (Brooklyn Funk Essentials), Dj.Logic and Cahit Berkay of Moğollar. He is the musial director of hit musical “Lost Songs of Anatolia”. Alp Ersönmez’s debut album “Yazısız” (2011) contains his compositions which are products of mixture of styles, put together with the help of the contemporary musical conceptions and capabilities of the modern harmonic textures. Guests like Erik Truffaz and Erkan Oğur have contributed to the album.
His new album “Cereyanlı” (2020) is an electro/jazz concept, in which the jazz compositions are played with the help of the electronics, loopers and computer. The guests on the album are such names like Erik Truffaz, Bugge Wesseltoft, Arto Tunçboyacıyan, Dj Logic and İlhan Erşahin.
