Our video screening series, which will span February, is entitled to underline the “ubiquity” of video art. In the pandemy period, which has forced us to try doing almost everything everywhere, this ubiquity may seem commonplace, but it is essential to keep in mind that video art was always already ubiquitous. Even when they were exhibited in physical places, videos had the capacity to be exhibited simultaneously in more than one space and they could always use the online space more frequently and efficiently than all other art forms. This will continue well beyond the pandemic. For this reason, this is not a pandemy project; this is simply a video project and it aims to remind you of the ubiquity of video art, which makes it reach everyone democratically without being hindered by limitations of space and time. We hope that in this period, which does not give us a lot of room to get together with others, you will find the time to take full advantage of the ubiquity of this project to enjoy it along with unknown others.
