Contemporary Art Education Program for Children and Youth program at Akbank Sanat Beyoğlu; offers students the opportunity to have a dialogue with their peers visiting an art exhibition, seeing the works closely, and have different artistic, cultural and social experiences exploring creatively as a group.
The program consists of three steps evolved around both theoretical and practical applications supporting one another.
Step 1: Meet & Greet: Participants first meet with the education team at the Contemporary Art Workshop on the 3rd floor and receive brief information about Akbank Sanat Beyoğlu. Following this, a mini preliminary information is given about the exhibition they will visit.
Step 2: Let’s Visit and Explore: After the preliminary information on the exhibition, we will start visiting and exploring the current exhbition. While seeing the Works and discussing over them with the education team, participants have the opportunity to get to know and learn the techniques and materials used by artists.
Step 3: Let’s be Creative: Now it is time to create an artwork related to the exhibition they visited. Participants will have the opportunity to work with concepts, techniques and materials parallel to the exhibition they discovered in activities specially designed for each exhibition.
The program content and the workshop regarding the exhibition is specially designed and renewed for each exhibition opened at Akbank Sanat.

Reservation: Participation in the program is free of charge, yet requires reservation. The program will be held in 2 sessions every Thursday and Friday. Instructors/coordinators who want to participate in the program with their student groups should contact us via Contact section of Akbank Sanat web page under the "Learning Programs" title and send a message including the day and time requested to participate in the program. They will then be contacted by our program coordinator.
Program language is Turkish. Quota limit for the student groups are 20 participants per each session.
