Ediz Hafızoğlu “Nazdrave” feat. Ceylan Ertem

Ediz Hafızoğlu

One of the most successful drummers in the Turkish jazz scene, Ediz Hafızoğlu has an impressive body of work in different styles, ranging from jazz to rock, from metal to experimental and Balkan music. Four years after his acclaimed debut “Nazdrave”, came the second studio album “13” on Lin Records in March 2018. Consisting of 13 tracks, the album refers to the power of the number 13. His latest EP “Üç Türkü” was released in September 2019. A believer in the power of staying in the moment, Hafızoğlu aims to build a bridge between the past and the future. You’re all invited to this musical journey at the 31st Akbank Jazz Festival.

Ceylan Ertem

Apart from her solo albums, she has been widely acclaimed with her Sezen Aksu Tribute project, her radio show “Cadı Avı” (witch hunt), and several duets.
