Elina Duni brings a brand new approach to contemporary jazz music by focusing on her cultural roots through improvisation practices. After leaving Allbania and conquering blues, jazz and classical music scenes, Duni started to embrace her own talents formed by her cultural heritage when working with Colin Vallon, in 2004. Working in a trio and later in a quartet, she released songs about her past and Albanian culture. Elina Duni encourages the other musicians in her quartet to experiment and improvise as providing listeners with auditory glimpses of lovers, heroes, workers, exiles, and resistance. Do not miss the poetic and astonishing voice of Elina Duni celebrating all aspects of life.
