Fatih Erkoç True Love
Fatih Erkoç was born in a musician family and was introduced to the violin and the harmonica when he was only 3 years old. He started his music education in Istanbul Municipal Conservatory, Department of Western Music and, thanks to his skills in polyphony, he was then advised to play the trombone and contrabass. As a multi-instrumentalist, Fatih Erkoç is proficient in playing the piano, saxophone, trumpet, and oud. He worked with many orchestras in Scandinavian countries, notably Norway, for 11 years. After he returned to Turkey, he participated in the famous music contests of the period and won several Grand Prizes. He has released 14 albums since 1987. He worked as a solo singer and played the trombone in the TRT Pop Music & Jazz Orchestra. In 2009, working with jazz pianist Kerem Görsev, he released his album ‘The Lady From İstanbul’, both as a CD and DVD.
