Manuel Costa Dias has created a unique technique in his puppetry career of more than 30 years. On stage, in front of the audience, he creates a brand new puppet by bringing together many small parts. He also gives a lifeless puppet a separate soul by draining its energy with his fingers. When you see the puppet laughing, crying and hurting in front of your eyes, your heart almost stops when you see it alive, even if only for a fraction of a second. This must be mastery.
