Selim Evci will be meeting short film enthusiasts again in Akbank Sanat.
The main purpose of the workshop is to give an overview of short film production while bringing the practices in filmmaking into the forefront along with theoric information.

Selim Evci
Selim Evci was born in Istanbul. He studied film at Maltepe University and has a master degree in film at Beykent University, Istanbul. He founded Evci Film Production in 2006. He has written, directed and edited his debut feature İki Çizgi “Two Lines” which has made its world premiere at 65th Venice International Film Festival, 23rd International Film Critics’ Week. Between 2004 and 2009 he gave lectures at various universities. He founded IFSAK Short Film Workshop and published his lecture notes as a book titled "Short Film Workshop." His second movie Rüzgarlar “Winds”, received support from Hubert Bals fund of Rotterdam Film Festival. His third feature Saklı “Secret” premiered at 39th Montreal World Film Festival. Afterwards it won Best Actor Award at Annaba Film Festival in Algeria, Film-Yön Best Director Award at 52nd Antalya Golden Orange
Film Festival. Evci has been the director of Akbank Short Film Festival since the festival's first year.
