About the Speakers:
Oytun Kal has worked in Germany and Turkey's film, television, animation, visual effects, and gaming industries. He is the Executive Producer at BUG Lab TEKMER, which provides pre-incubation and incubation programs for gaming startups and companies. Additionally, he teaches courses on XR technologies, virtual production, and motion capture at BUG Lab (Bahçeşehir University Game Laboratory) within the undergraduate program of game design.
Koray Birand graduated from the Interior Architecture Department of Bilkent University. After completing his studies, he pursued a career in photography and videography. During this time, he met Sinan Çetin and became a part of the Young Filmmakers Generation. He also worked with Cemal Okan at FONO Film. He later directed promotional films for the defense industry, documentaries for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and noteworthy projects such as the Turkey Promotion Project. Alongside his directing career, he pursued his interest in photography and took his first steps into professional photography with a shoot for Marie Claire Magazine.
