Seminar: States of Curation

This talk will include some observations about curation based on personal experiences. In the speech in question, the different situations experienced as both an artist and a curator are discussed under two main headings:
1. Different ways of working with curators as an artist.
2. Relationships with artists as a curator.
About Emre Zeytinoğlu
In 1980, he graduated from Mimar Sinan University Ceramic Department. Since 1986, his works were shown in numerous exhibitions. From 1988 published articles about art in different journals and multi-authored books. At Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and Marmara University he lectures “Art, Theory and Criticism”, “Contamporary Art” and “Ideological Texts and Art”. He is making documentaries for various television channels. He undertakes curation duties for various institutions and private galleries. He made radio programs on art and football culture. Some of his documentaries about archeological settlements on different television channels, and some of them are still broadcast on Iz TV.
