Muammer Yanmaz, whose enthusiasm on photography began in high scool, will share his 33 years’ experience of photography. Muammer Yanmaz, who graduated from Saint Michel High, has transformed photography into a way of life with focusing on faces, looks, and emotions from the first frames which he took when he was 16 years old.
Muammer Yanmaz is inspired by Ara Güler, Richard Avedon, Duane Michals, Robert Doisneau, Elliott Erwitt and Werner Bischof, and also he will share his experiences on photography with four different titles.
Muammer Yanmaz was born in Istanbul in 1969. He started taking photographs after finishing Saint Michel High School. He has been taking advertising photographs, and has realized many photographic projects including “40” series (40 Stations, 40 Lives, and 40 Actress). Yanmaz has also given photography classes at his workshop in Istanbul.
