How is "REMIX" done?
This speech series aim to discuss during the "BÜLENT ERKMEN / REMIX" exhibition, to search for answers, to point out the practices that are brought to mind by the word "Remix" in different disciplines.

Can Altay had solo exhibitions at The Showroom, London (2010), Kunstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin (2008), Sala Rekalde, Bilbao (2006) and Spike Island, Bristol (2007). His work has been included in biennials in Istanbul (2003), Havana (2003), Gwangju (2008), Taipei (2010); and in museums and galleries such as the Walker Art Center (USA), VanAbbe Museum (Netherlands), ZKM (Germany) and P.S.1 MoMA (USA).
Altay holds a PhD (2004) in Art, Design and Architecture from Bilkent University, Ankara on Process Oriented Value Judgments Of Actor Groups In Mass Housing. He studied Critical Studies at the Malmö Art Academy and Lund University, and Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (BFA and MFA) at Bilkent University. He is currently Head of the Department of Industrial Product Design at İstanbul Bilgi University.
