An Alternative View on Art, Children and Creativity
Speaker: N. Barış Karayazgan
Dates: 10 - 13 June 2024
Time: 20:00 - 22:30
Starting from the question “What do you think artis?”, this four-day teacher training delves into questions like “Why do children create art?”, “What is talent and is it necessary?”, and “Can everyone be an artist?”. This creative discussion environment is designed for teachers and teacher candidates. The program is led by N. Barış Karayazgan, an artist and founder of the PACE Children’s Art Center, who has been working with children and youth in the field of art for 25 years. This engaging and thought-provoking practical learning program is conducted online, providing an alternative perspective on how we should communicate with children during art activities and what methods we should use.
June 10, Monday: “What do you think art and talent are?”
