About the Seminar
It is important for curator candidates to have knowledge of the legal dimension of their profession. Some of the topics that will be discussed in this seminar are intellectual property rights, their protection, examining the legal aspects of the works carried out within the scope of the curatorial project, relations between artists, institutions, owners, curators, and contracts in the exhibition process.
About the Speaker
Burcu Acartürk Yıldız graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Law in 2000. She worked as a partner at Pekin & Pekin Law Firm between 1998 and 2008. As a founding partner, she works for KYB Law Firm since 2008. She is a contemporary art collector, classic car rally driver and mother of three kids.
