Mourning is the deep emotional process experienced by an individual in the face of a loss. This process is not limited to the loss of a loved one, but can also occur when the individual loses everything he or she considers valuable in his or her life. The emptiness felt in the face of loss leaves deep traces not only in the inner world of the individual, but also in social relations and daily lives. While psychology tries to understand this layered experience of grief, art impressively expresses the pain, chaos and transformation of grief. Through paintings, films and literary works, mourning takes on different forms and becomes a universal experience.
In this interview, we will combine the creative power of art with the deep analyzes of psychology and trace the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that carry the traces of the past to the future through the theme of "mourning".
