New Media and Publishing

Kaan Kayabalı (Founder of Onedio.com)

What kind of a transformation process did publishing has with the New Media? What is the role of the New Media in newspaper closures? How will New Media Broadcasting affect the future of radio and television? How will be the future of the competition between the new generation broadcasters and the conventional broadcasters? What are the advantages / disadvantages do they have? Does New Media publishing have a sustainable revenue model? Does the intense involvement of technology in the publishing process in forms such as AR / VR or robot journalism, damage the humanistic and researching aspect of broadcasting?

Why news and agenda-oriented publishing approach of the conventional media is not as popular in the new media as before? How does the new generation of readers approach the news and how does the content consumption change? How should readers be included in the new media publishing process? Is citizen journalism a utopia or a “sine qua non” of new media?
