Psychology and Art Conversations
“Bullying”
Moderators: Alper Hasanoğlu, Cengiz Arca
Bullying is a form of behavior in which the search for power and control puts psychological and physical pressure on the victim, seriously affecting the individual's quality of life. Artworks explore this painful experience as a reflection of social criticism and individual tragedies. Bullying in literature and visual arts dramatizes characters' deep conflicts and social injustices, helping audiences understand the complex nature and effects of bullying. By illuminating the dark side of bullying, art sheds light on the social and individual dimensions of this problem.
In this talk, we will combine the creative power of art with the deep analyzes of psychology and track the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that carry the traces of the past to the future through the theme of "bullying".
