Akbank Art Printmaking Studio has been offering the possibility to make screen printing and lithography to the leading artists of Turkey for over 20 years. Our aim is to create a collection of works by artists utilizing the techniques of lithography and silkscreen printmaking. Printmaking is a printing technique that produces a limited edition of works, each print numbered and with the signature of the artist. It is a technique where the artist prepares a separate matrix/screen for each colour, which will then be printed one after another by the artist.
The exhibition presents a selection of the works produced in the Print Workshop during the twenty years since its inauguration.
