“Intentions 2” exhibition aims to present collections of artworks, each with distinct concepts, that were not initially intended to be exhibited together, with the goal of generating new contextual relations. The coexistence of diverse perspectives on human existence holds the potential to inspire countless worldviews among the audience.
“Intentions 2” showcases 14 exhibition projects created by curator candidates participating in the second semester of “Curating Contemporary Art” Seminar Program. These projects share the common intention of “prompting reflection on ourselves, our lives, and the world around us”. The exhibition provides an opportunity to view and experience these project ideas, all developed with the same intention, situated within the same space but offering entirely unique outlooks on life, encouraging contemplation on the human existence.
The exhibition encompasses documentation of the 14 projects, designed to fill the entire Akbank Sanat exhibition hall, along with a small selection of artworks from these collections. Additionally, there will be performances, workshops and talks throughout the exhibition, aiming to expand upon the themes explored in the projects and enrich the overall visual experience.
We are delighted to invite you to share in the excitement of witnessing the first pieces of these young minds who are destined to shape the future of the cultural sector.
