Acquasanta
Italy / Documentary / 14’ / Color / 2018
In the seaside village of Santa Maria la Scala, the feast of the Madonna is the occasion to repopulate the houses and the harbor, kept silent for the rest of the year. Young fishermen, old people and children are the living body of archaic rites connected to water that make recognize them as a community blessed by the sea. They come back from all over Mediterranean sea to celebrate, on this one, an explosive "baptism" where there’s room for everyone.
