Three Treasures - II
Facilitator: Filiz Bozkuş
Time: 15:00 – 18:00
In this workshop, we will approach the concepts of "Body, Mind, and Spirit" as the "Three Fundamental Treasures" of humans. We will explore how to develop and direct these abilities as humans who:
• Stand upright on two feet with free hands capable of dancing,
• Leave objects behind for future generations with our hands,
• Imagine, design, think, and transform ideas into reality with our minds, creating meanings and stories.
How can we fully "unlock" these treasures? How can we integrate the practice of unlocking these treasures into our daily lives and understand that these three are truly one? We will also explore how, despite life’s natural tendency to flow towards joy, humans tend to create blockages, problems, and illnesses. How can we relieve these blockages and find the path that brings joy to both life and ourselves?
This workshop, led by actress and dancer Filiz Bozkuş, builds upon the teachings of Iida Shigemi, with whom she has worked for 13 years. Though rooted in Eastern medicine, existential philosophy, and psychology, the workshop will also help participants see how the concept of the "Three Treasures" is reflected in various cultural traditions.
