Bulut Gülen has performed at many concert venues and festivals in the Balkans, the United States, Canada, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Turkey with jazz musicians like Kurt Elling, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Miguel Zenon, McCoy Tyner, and Benny Golson. He will join the 33rd Akbank Jazz Festival on October 5. At his concerts, he plays popular songs from his debut album Su and the sophomore album Bosphorus Train as well as different arrangements fitting the concert’s themes.
He released Bosphorus Train in 2022. The songs on this album relate to his personal history. It even takes its name from the train that Gülen took to school during his adolescent years – an important part of his memories of that period. Bulut Gülen and his orchestra will be on stage at Akbank Sanat with their striking performance that maintains the rhythmic and melodic structure of their recordings.
