“Max Horkheimer and the Foundations of Critical Theory: Problematizing the Crisis of Metaphysics, Science and Society”
Ates Uslu is an Associate Professor of Political Science in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Istanbul University. His main area of interest is the history of political thought, and his particular passion is for the history of Marxism. He authored a variety of articles and book chapters in Turkish, English, French, and Hungarian on the aforementioned topics, as well as an intellectual biography of György Lukács, an introduction to the History of Political Thought, and a Social History of Political Thought in three volumes.
