Reality...
The state of being able to create and staying truthful is what the art of acting has been pursuing and deepening its efforts for centuries. It starts with the actor's courage to be truthful to herself/himself. It continues its existence by growing with a whole new awareness. Society wants the actor to follow the established order, but the actor must strive to be real in life and in art. Because this is the most important layer of the raw material that feeds the actor.
