“Mimesis and Mystery: 'The invisible' appearing as invisible in the visible'”
Oğuz Haşlakoğlu received his bachelor's degree in 1991 and his master's degree in 1993 at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSÜ) Painting Department. He graduated from Boğaziçi University Philosophy Master's Program in 1999. In 2003, he received the degree of Proficiency in Art in the field of Painting at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSGSU). His articles have been published in various refereed, international and culture-art journals, especially in philosophy of art and aesthetics, which are his main theoretical fields of study. He has worked as a copywriter and editor of artist books and catalogues, and has written art reviews. He continues his studies in the fields of basic design, philosophy of art and aesthetics as an associate professor at the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University. His main books in the field of Philosophy and Philosophy of Art are: "Tekhnê in Plato's Thought: The Common Origin of Art and Philosophy" (2016), "Art Philosophy and Aesthetic Writings" (2019), "Philosophy: Philosophical Writings" (2021).
