Having studied with musicians like Selçuk Sun, Yaz Baltacıgil, Neşet Ruacan and Aydın Esen, Şenay Lambaoğlu sang several concerts with Beck's Big Band in 2002, shared the same stage with Nilüfer Verdi and Andreas Buchmann in the 16th Istanbul Jazz Festival, appeared in several projects with Burçin Büke, Volkan Hürsever and Kürşat Başar. Not only as a singer, but also as a song-writer bridging jazz and other genres with a cross-over success, Lambaoğlu has reached a larger fun base with the albums İçimde Aşk Var and Zarf Tümleci which brought her under the spotlight as a woman poet. In her latest album Başka Türlü Bir Şey, through the elixir of jazz, she breathed life into works by timeless bards like Can Yücel, Nâzım Hikmet, Hayyam and Füruğ Ferruhzad. Getting ready for a reunion after 5 years with the Akbank Jazz Festival goers, Lambaoğlu will present an acoustic programme with her hit songs at Summart.
