“Family”
Guest: Nehir Tuna
Moderators: Alper Hasanoğlu, Cengiz Arca
Family is the Foundation stone that enables the individual's identity development. Relationships between family members have a deep impact on the psychological state of the individual. Domestic dynamics are transformed into strong representations reflecting individual psychology in art products; Universal topics, such as the transmission of family traumas through generations, allow the viewer to gain a deep permanence of their own experiences. The artworks present the family not just as a structure, but as a mirror that shows the complexity of the human soul and its continued existence across generations.
In this talk, we will combine the creative power of art with the deep analyzes of psychology and track the thoughts, feelings and behaviors that carry the traces of the past to the future through the theme of "family".
