In today's world, food design is gaining significant importance in order to minimize environmental impacts and use resources more efficiently. In this discussion, we will address important topics such as the future of sustainable foods, eco-friendly packaging, and sustainability at events. We will explore how more sustainable steps can be taken in food design, how innovations in this field are shaping up, and discuss the environmental impacts of packaging choices.
Lale Çırakoğlu Acar, a culinary-trained industrial product designer, is a designer specialized in product and food design. Working independently on various productions and experiments, Lale focuses on food itself, the products accompanying it, and the ways food is perceived and experienced. She also takes on planning and coordinating creative processes at Turkey's first food incubation center. In this role, she develops innovative strategies to bring creative projects for Maide and other initiatives to life. With her deep knowledge in design and gastronomy, she has a vision that investigates, transforms, and creates new experiences at the intersection of food and design.
