If Yin and Yang, two opposing force and energy, enter a “harmonious” and “continuous" flow, it is called Tai Chi. Tai Chi Chuan is an internal school of Kungfu designed according to the Tai Chi Principle. Tai Chi Chuan, also known as moving meditation, consists of the series of slow and fluid movements. Through these practices, we better understand our body and mind; strengthen our muscles, our tendons and our bones, as well as our intentions, feelings, awareness and life energy. As long as we gain the ability to move our body in one piece, built up the integrity of the heart and mind, and integrate into ourselves, we become also integrated with our surroundings.
Course Content
We will learn to stand right and balanced with the most basic movement principles which have the characteristics of preparation at the flows of the form, to alleviate tension in our body with soft and fluent movements (spinning rope, turning Yin Yang ball), strengthening our legs with Tai Chi walks, we will also observe our vitality with "tree stands" which are based on Kungfu Oigon. The practices that will help to correct postural disorders and to awake the backbone, also an important part of the lessons.
