Tuluğ Tırpan, Okay Temiz & Juan Garcia Herreros Project
Three significant musicians who like to mix different genres will share the stage for a supragenre performance. Master of percussion, and one of the pioneering musicians in Turkey, Okay Temiz, has played on over 60 albums released throughout his jazz career which began in Sweden. A graduate of Vienne Conservatoire, pianist and composer Tuluğ Tırpan has written symphonies, oratorios, concertos and pieces for chamber orchestras. Tırpan likes to integrate many different musical genres into her tunes. On his journey, which he based on American jazz and musicals, he took the stage with famous musicians such as Trilok Gurtu, Al di Meola, Dave Weckl, Mike Stern and İbrahim Maalouf. The duo will be accompanied by the ‘Best Latin Jazz Album’ Grammy winner, Colombian bass guitarist Juan Garcia-Herreros, who frequently performs in Turkey. Get ready for a performance, stepping in and out of genres, with a high dose of improvisation and surprises.
