What is the new media concept? What are the differences from the media concept that came into existence with newspaper, radio and TV until today? Is it an extension or continuation of them, or is it a new concept that is radically differentiated from the existing definition? How has the media concept entered into the process of transition from passive mass media to interactive mass media environments? What are the individual and social impacts of this transition? What are the opportunities and threats that await individuals in new media platforms, where young people and the middle-aged generation are also spending more time? Why is it important to approach consciously to the new media and digital literacy for children, young people and even adults? What are the clues of the conscious usage? Why should digital literacy be a state policy? How will the new media transform in the future, and what role will it play in the formation of future societies?
