It's Jazz Season Again

The city was speechless... The streets once crammed with people, the park around the corner, the endless sea and even the waves that beat the shore... As if they were tongue-tied, as though they were mute...

The door has been shut away and locked over after it went away, exactly one year ago...She wasn't going to speak until it returned and even if she spoke, she was not going to be open about her feelings.

The city was quiet... She was crying, she was in love, she was laughing within soundless, The city kept quiet, she was waiting...

She was getting more excited with each passing day... Counting the days, after all she knew the exact date... She was certain that it would come. Because it never let the city down for 15 years.

15 years... During those years, many legends from Jazz history like Anthony Braxton, Cassandra Wilson and Max Roach have performed for Akbank Jazz Festival.

Emotional jazz tones are already heard around the city. Akbank Jazz Festival, the most established and long-lasting jazz event ever held in İstanbul, will meet its loyal audience with the best jazz. It will be worth waiting for.
