The award-winning films of Akbank Short Film Festival, which set out with the aim of creating a platform in the field of short films in Turkey and has been one of the leading events in its field for 20 years, will meet young people at 41 universities in 22 provinces across Turkey between 15 April and 07 June.
Within the scope of the event, among 2421 short films from 71 countries participating in the competition section of the 20th Akbank Short Film Festival, "Evcil" directed by Deniz Duymaz won the "Best Short Film" award in the National category, "A Kind of Testament" by Stephen Vuillemin won the "Best Short Film" award in the International category, "Go Home" directed by Demir Demirbağ won the "Best Short Film" award in the Young Talents category.
Şirin Bahar Demirel's "Between Delicate and Violent", Mahur Uslu's "Two Blue", which received honourable mentions in the national and young talents categories. The films can be watched free of charge at the universities specified in the programme.
