Ahmet, who confuses an Edgar Degas painting that his father brought home for a woman named Fahriye, who is constantly talked about in the house; interprets the unrest at home through the painting, and the painting becomes a symbol of forbidden facts for Ahmet.

Barış Özcan was born in Ankara in 1999. He lived in Afyonkarahisar until his university age. He came to Istanbul for university and completed his cinema and sociology studies at Koç University. Fahriyem is the director's first professional short film.
