Biography
André Hayato Saito is a Japanese- Brazilian director and screenwriter. His short films exploring identity and grief were selected by festivals like Cannes, TIFF, Moscow, Sheffield, New Directors New Films, Uruguay, Rio, among others. Recently, Saito joined labs like TFL - FeatureLab, TIFF Filmmakers Lab, Berlinale Talents BS AS and Interaction: Doc Workshop. His debut feature film is in late development and has already joined markets like Cannes FocusCoPro, Shanghai Film Market and Ontario Creates.
