Charles, a 18 year old kid, grew up in a quiet village but dreams of being a black rapper who lives in a big city. His fantasy has a name: Black Charles. A double of himself that follows him everywhere, including on this day when he decides to break with his everyday routine to join his older brother in Paris, hoping for a new life.

Graduated from the Art Déco school in Strasbourg, Swann Arlaud (born in 1981) started to play for cinema and television in his childhood. We have seen him, among others, in Romantic Anonymous from Jean-Pierre Améris, The Wakhan Front from Clément Cogitore, The Anarchists from Elie Wajeman or more recently in Bloody Milk from Hubert Charuel.
After a training as a comedian, Tatiana Vialle became casting director in 1991. She worked on about sixty features while continuing to appear on screen as an actress. She has also been teaching acting for ten years with Bruno Nuytten.
