McBride was discovered at an early age thanks to the musical genes he inherited from his family. Time magazine declared him to be “the most promising, versatile jazz bassist since Charles Mingus.” Grammy award winner Christian McBride has shared the stage with many jazz legends including Ray Brown, Freddie Hubbard, Sonny Rollins, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, and Chick Corea since the early days of his professional music career of twenty four years. He joined the most respectable figures of the world of music through his arrangements for the stars of “Rhythm & Blues” like James Brown, the stars of “Pop” like Natalie Cole, and the stars of “Rock” such as Sting.The musician is visiting Turkey again, on tour with the new album “Out Here.”
