Coming from a musical family, Ece Göksu started her musical education at an early age. She developed an interest in jazz while studying classical piano at Hacettepe and Mimar Sinan Universities, and took the stage in jazz clubs and concert halls soon after she founded her first band during this time. The artist, who has performed at the İstanbul, Ankara and Akbank Jazz Festivals, has also given concerts in USA, Budapest and Dubai. She received a master’s in jazz vocal performance from William Paterson University, where she studied, on scholarship, with musicians like Nancy Marano, Cecil Bridgewater and Mulgrew Miller, and attended workshops put on by Kurt Ellington. After her first solo album “Masal”, she released her second album with Neşet Ruacan in 2014.
