ANGELIKA NIESCIER - SELEN GÜLÜN
Saxophone: Angelika Niescier
Piano, Vocal: Selen Gülün
Selen Gülün and Angelika Niescier met during Şevket Akıncı's Take the A.I.D Train project. There was a musical spark between these two artists who had never heard each other and never knew each other before. Two days later, Niescier was a guest artist in Gülün's Women's Matinee project. Mutual interaction and playing styles were a sign that both musicians were indispensable for forward-looking musical coexistence. The musicians who will meet in the scope of International Jazz Day will show different aspects of jazz in their original compositions.
