Kaan Çelen started his drumming journey at the age of 17 with lessons he took from Ediz Hafızoğlu. He worked with Ferit Odman and Cem Aksel during his music studies. Participating in the New York Jazz Workshop organized by Boğaziçi University in 2015 and the İzmir Europe Jazz Workshop, the musician has worked in the field of Turkish music with the Turkish Classical Music Orchestra alongside jazz. Unable to use his left arm, Kaan Çelen took on music at his physiotherapist’s suggestion when he was 15. In his 2020 debut “NA-Zİ-LE”, named after his mother, Çelen was accompanied by Tolga Bilgin, Tamer Temel, Ercüment Orkut and Volkan Topakoğlu.
