Seminar: Curatorial Texts and Editing
Speaker: Nilüfer Şaşmazer
About the seminar: The "Curatorial Texts and Editing" seminar will begin with a consideration of the variety of texts that we encounter within the art-world. Setting aside the art journalism, the most common texts in this context appear in the form of art criticism, art writing and curatorial texts. We will especially focus on curatorial texts, looking at how text is shaped by the content of an exhibition, as well as how exhibition catalogs are finalized, examining the entire process.
