Pianist and film music composer Leszek Możdżer is considered as the most important jazz musician in the Polish jazz scene after Tomasz Stanko. Despite having ventured into jazz music at a later age, he was quickly noticed with his jazz interpretations of classical works. Leszek Możdżer received one of the most prestigious awards of the world, “Diamond Award,” as well as Jazz Oscars and the Jazz Forum Award. He composed film music for famous Hollywood film companies and also played and recorded with jazz legends including Buster Williams, Joe Lovano, Pat Metheny, Marcus Miller and Archie Shepp. Możdżer creates a subtle and mystical atmosphere in his concerts.
