In today's museum education, the central role played by communication in the development of museums and museology is taken into consideration. For this reason, communication topic is integrated into various forms of education programs. This integration can be in the direction of constructing new lectures and also can shape towards improving the existing courses considering communication studies at the same time. On the one hand, new educational contents such as marketing, public relations, digital communication, public programs, corporate communication, brand development, public participation, social media are being improved, on the other hand, topics on communication can be added to education-related topics under the title of conservation. In this session, the place and the importance of communication in museology education, communication skills toward career development in the digital era and education programs arranged with the aim of improving the skills, museology education in Turkey and projects that lead career developments of museum professionals will be presented.
