Concert
Tania Oleiro (Portekiz)

“The singularity of her singing, the bold reinterpretation of
fados that populate our imagination, the challenges it
faces and wins with rigor and elegance, put Tânia Oleiro on
a plateau of the new generation fado.”

- Armando Carvalhêda - Antena

Tânia Oleiro sings 15 years ago and, in 2016, recorded her first album 'Terços de Fado'. A record that reflects her path traced with solidity and dedication to traditional knowledge and the vast cultural heritage of Fado.

Born in Lisbon, she had Fado as a crib, by condition. From infancy he she recalls the fado sung by her mother and will thus have born her great passion. From the most respected Fado houses in Lisbon, where Tânia has always sung, she brings the enrichment of sharing experiences with various musicians, fado singers and authors.

From an early age she is invited to sing alongside renowned

Fado names, both in Portugal and abroad.

Rooted in her historical legacy, Tânia Oleiro is an emerging value that opens the way for the future, balancing the careful selection of the repertoire, the accompanying musicians and her extraordinary interpretive power.

In 2017, Tânia Oleiro participated in two of the biggest music festivals in Portugal - Caixa Alfama Festival and Festa do Avante - and critics recognized her talent and the musical excellence of her concerts.

More than the presentation of her latest album "Terços de Fado", Tânia Oleiro presents a concert that is a reflection of traditional Fado.

Tânia enchants the audience with her authentic Fado. The intention of her interpretive power is very expressive and the public accompanies these various states of emotion during the concert.
