Gaza is a 14-year-old boy who lives on the Aegean coast of Turkey. Together with his domineering father, he helps smuggle refugees to Europe, giving them temporary shelter and scant food until they attempt their crossing. Gaza dreams of escaping this life of crime, but can’t help being drawn into a dark world of immorality, exploitation and human suffering. Onur Saylak
Born in 1977, in Ankara. Onur Saylak is an actor and director. He graduated from Bilkent University Performing Arts Department. While attending Bilkent University he performed at the Ankara Municipal Theater and the University theater productions. He started his cinema career as an actor in “Autumn.” He won the Best Actor Award Award at the SIYAD Turkish Film Critics Association Awards and Yeşilçam Awards. Following “Autumn”, Onur Saylak continued his acting career in cinema with award winning films such as “Brought by the Sea,” “The Blue Wave” and “Memories of the Wind.” He made his directorial debut with the short film, The Jungle. His feature film “More” has premiered at Karlovy Vary IFF.
