Biography
Vuslat Saraçoğlu graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University with a degree in Sociology and International Relations. She went on to study Modern Turkish History at Boğaziçi University. In 2013, Vuslat Saraçoğlu directed The Children of Müslüm Baba. She was among the cast and worked as the production coordinator in the feature film Why Can't I Be Tarkovsky. Her first feature Debt was screened at various international festivals. It was also granted with Golden Tulip for the Best Film at 37th Istanbul Film Festival and various awards in Turkey. Her second feature film Not What You Think was awarded with jury special, best screenplay, best actor and best editing at 43th Istanbul Film Festival in April.
