Akbank Jazz Festival, one of Turkey’s longest running festivals, will bring different colours of Jazz to the city between 1-10 October, for the 31st time.
Renowned as one of the most prestigious jazz festivals in Europe, Akbank Jazz Festival, in collaboration with Pozitif, will host special performances of over 100 artists from the Turkish Jazz scene in 10 different locations for its 31st year. Expanding its musical scope over the years by including various electronic, hip-hop and world music projects alongside classical and modern jazz works, Akbank Jazz Festival will transform the city this fall by bringing different genres of music together with jazz.

Concert Yunus Belgin Quartet
Born in Ludwigsburg and raised in Munich, Yunus Belgin began studying drums at the age of 9 with Dim Schlichter and was exposed to Big Band drumming at the school under the leadership of trumpeter Jim Polivka
Concert Ferit Odman Quintet
Ferit Odman, one of the pioneers of jazz drumming in Turkey, will be playing quintet arrangements from his four-star reviewed albums by Downbeat Magazine, Autumn In New York and Nommo.
Concert Ece Göksu Quartet
Ece Göksu has completed her piano and vocal studies with leading names in Turkey and the USA. She performed in jazz clubs, concert halls, and festivals in Turkey as well as in Europe, the UAE, and the USA. She recorded jingles for TV and radio commercials.
Concert Standards & İpek Dinç
You are invited to a special night at Contemporary Istanbul as part of the 31st Akbank Jazz Festival. İpek Dinç, who has been working with Turkey's leading jazz musicians and performing at festivals abroad since 2009, joins Standards, the band that marries jazz standards with various genres of world music.

One of the most successful drummers in the Turkish jazz scene, Ediz Hafızoğlu has an impressive body of work in different styles, ranging from jazz to rock, from metal to experimental and Balkan music.
Concert Cazlı Brunch: Flapper Swing
Flapper Swing, the acoustic gypsy jazz band that follows the footsteps of French jazz artist Django Reinhardt and New Orleans’ Sidney Bechet, brings its high-energy performance to the Akbank Jazz Festival.

A prolific name of the hip-hop scene, beatmaker, producer, and MC Da Poet and trumpeter Barış Demirel who has come into prominence with his solo work as well as collaborations, join forces in the Akbank Jazz Festival.
Concert Mousikē DJ Set
Starting out as an Istanbul based event series inspired by the music revolution in Ancient Greece, Mousikē evolved into a vibrant community with many colors and tastes.

Pianist and composer Baki Duyarlar combines old Turkish forms and makams with modern jazz tones in his “JazzArk Project”, updating the music of old civilizations with today’s approaches.
Concert Cenk Erdoğan “OttoJazz” Ensemble
Having met with the listeners in the previous editions of Akbank Jazz Festival, Cenk Erdoğan will take stage at the festival with a special project this year.
